Main Reflection: Troubles in our spiritual desert
Purpose: Continuously be obedient to our Heavenly Father

1. Before Jesus ascended to heaven, He said, “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promise.”
2. People want to live in comfort, but in their comfortable state it is hard to understand the grace of God. There will be difficulties, but do not fear for God will guide you.
3. A generation of Israelites could not enter into the promised land not because they were unwilling, but it was because they were afraid in addition to their constant complaining, which caused them the opportunity.
4. We often neglected the grace of God, and took it for granted.
5. Your spiritual desert is where you learn to grow. In your spiritual desert, you will see God do the impossible.
6. Peace comes from experiencing the agony of the cross.
7. Do not forbid others to speak in tongues because it cannot be explained by logic.
8. People like to interpret God’s words to fit their own needs. However God has already revealed Himself, and conformed to the thinking and the ways of men.
9. God uses His plan to lead men into true peace.
10. Jesus Christ died for us so that we may have peace.
11. Obediently receive God’s teaching so that we would know what is true life.
12. The peace from the cross is a combination of righteousness and love. Peace encompasses responsibilities, reverence and obedience.
13. Wait for the Holy Spirit to pour upon us. We need to receive, and then we will not be afraid of trials and enter into God’s peace.
14. Blessed is the man God discipline. (Psalms 94:12) God’s discipline brings about life. (Hebrews 12:9) God’s discipline brings about honor. (Proverbs 13:18)
